Paris lockdown: for a city that is always full of life and love, the streets of Paris are filled with nothing but silence for the first time in many years. Indeed, Paris is one of the most visited capital in the world. It was not surprising to find couples dressed up very early in the morning, to pose for romantic photos around the city.

Now, the streets are empty, due to the Paris lockdown. Regardless of the time of the day, people are staying inside. Take a look at some of the photos of Paris during this historical time.

All the major monuments and attractions are closed and the Parisian landscape is unrecognizable during the Paris lockdown. The confinement started on March 17 and was extended until April 15. At this point, we don’t know for how long the lockdown will be in place in France.

April is typically cherry blossoms month. During April, we were inundated with requests to take romantic photos using the blossoms as a background. Now, instead of seeing crowds of tourists and influencers, the cherry blossoms are admired only by the people going out for jogging or for grocery shopping.

These are tough times for the world right now, but only by working together by staying home and spending time with our families will we get through it.

We truly miss being out walking the streets of this beautiful city and taking photos. We usually capture amazing memories during our Paris photo shoots for those celebrating an engagement, create memories with families or even to remember a girls trip to the city! We are looking forward for the Paris lockdown to be done and to meet you in Paris for beautiful pictures.

    Merci Céline,

it is weird to see Paris going from one season to another without the people walking around.

But hopefully, all this will end soon and we’ll go back to normal life.

    Hugs,
    Fran
